Main Duties
Reporting to the Manager of Digital Marketing, this position is responsible for developing and executing a comprehensive content strategy across all digital platforms, focusing on consistent brand messaging, engagement, and optimization for target audiences. This role will create high-quality written content and lead communication planning for digital content to ensure cohesive and strategic alignment across all marketing channels. Additionally, the Content Strategist will collaborate closely with internal teams to gather input, plan content distribution, and ensure all messaging supports SIGA’s marketing goals, enhances customer experience, and drives engagement and conversions.
Responsibilities include: Developing and implementing a cohesive content strategy for all digital platforms, including website, social media, and email, ensuring alignment with SIGA's overall marketing objectives. Writing and editing engaging, high-quality content for digital channels, including social media, web, and email campaigns, maintaining brand voice and messaging. Analyzing content performance through digital analytics tools and optimizing future content based on data insights to improve engagement and conversions. Collaborating with internal marketing teams to align content with broader marketing strategies and ensure smooth execution of communication plans. Optimizing all content for search engine visibility, ensuring that digital assets are effectively structured for improved organic traffic and rankings. Participating in other projects and activities as required, in support of SIGA’s priorities.
Conditions of Employment
Successful candidates are subject to a background check as well are required to obtain and maintain a gaming employee Certificate of Registration from the Saskatchewan Liquor and Gaming Authority (SLGA)/Indigenous Gaming Regulators (IGR).
The minimum age to work in a casino or any area where gaming can be seen is 19 years of age.
Must possess valid Saskatchewan Driver’s License and acceptable driving record.
Some SIGA locations operate in a high sensory environment. You may be required to work in an environment where you will be exposed to tobacco smoke, high noise levels, flashing and blinking lights, and a congested workplace. SIGA adheres to all occupational health and safety regulations and makes every effort to limit the adverse effects of these elements.

Compliance with all regulatory requirements as may be applicable to your position including but not limited to both SLGA requirements and the Anti-Money Laundering requirements set out in the Proceeds of Crime (Money Laundering) and Terrorist Financing Act and regulations and policies made thereunder by Canada and FINTRAC.
